Craving a wildly good time? Consider paying a visit to Shalom Wildlife Zoo!

Since opening in 1979, the zoo has grown tremendously. Today it stretches across 100 acres and is home to a variety of native and exotic species.

Located in West Bend, Shalom Wildlife Zoo is also known as "Wisconsin's Wildest Zoo"  that's because the animals live in huge natural habitats. Shalom is truly Wisconsin's first wildlife safari and you'll experience nature at it's finest.

Home to 75 species and more the 750 animals!

Herds of bison, deer, elk, mountain sheep, wolves, tigers, bears, cougar, zebra, and camel are just a few of the animals you'll see as you navigate the zoo.

It is no surprise to visitors that Shalom Wildlife Zoo has been ranked by TripAdvisior as the #1 tourist attraction in the West Bend area for 6 consecutive years and is the highest ranked zoo in Wisconsin.

Offering an unique twist on the typical zoo experience, the grounds of Shalom Wildlife are clean, pristine and barely developed. Shalom Zoo has the atmosphere more like a park.

Over four miles of gravel roads run through the zoo, which makes it easy to find your way around. If your unable to walk that far, golf carts are available for rent.

Dubbed "America's largest petting zoo", you'll have the chance to pet and feed many different species. Animal feed is available in the gift shop.

With so much to see and do, you can easily spend an entire day at Shalom Wildlife Zoo. Luckily, the zoo has a restaurant - The Grizzly Grill Cafe, where you can fill up on burgers, hot dogs, wraps and more.
